Welcome to the first post of my new blog, The Book Braggart! I'm sure some of you may be wondering why I would choose such a strange title for my blog, but as I am talkative by nature and rather boastful about the merit of a good book, I think it fits. My plan is to utilize this blog to post reviews, reflections, and comments about Children's and Young Adult books for my students, their parents/guardians, and book lovers around the world. Here is what you can expect from my posts: 1) They will be about books, 2) All books discussed will be appropriate for young readers, and 3) All posts are my opinions and do not reflect my employers' opinions or views. My hopes are that those who view this blog will also share their thoughts on the book mentioned and recommend books for future reviews. I look forward to bragging and blogging about the books I will have the pleasure to read and review and I look forward to sharing that journey with you! Happy Reading!
